In Brief

Leeds claim narrow win at Hull. Izzy Brown, Patrick Bamford, Gaetano Berardi, Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe injured. Barry Douglas also out along with Conor Shaughnessy.

Looking Back

Leeds went back to the top of the Championship with a result that will certainly please boss Marcelo Bielsa even if the performance won't necessarily. They won thanks to Tyler Roberts' second half goal.

Finishing is proving to be an area of weakness for Leeds at the moment especially without both Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe. Bielsa is certainly not happy with that department at the moment.

Looking Ahead

Leeds' main plus recently has been their ability to keep a settled starting eleven. But they are forced into a change for this one as Barry Douglas went off with a knock on Tuesday and has now been ruled out for a month. Jamie Shackleton or Stuart Dallas are leading contenders to replace him.

Leeds still have a number of injuries with Izzy Brown, Gaetano Berardi and Pablo Hernandez all sidelined in addition to Roofe and Bamford. Conor Shaughnessy is another man missing.

Points of Interest

Leeds have three wins, a draw and just one defeat on home soil this season.

Brentford

In Brief

Brentford's form has dipped. Said Benrahma back from suspension. Ollie Watkins passed fit. Rico Henry and Emiliano Marcondes sidelined.

Looking Back

Brentford have now failed to win in the last five matches and that is the cause for a little concern at Griffin Park.

They could only draw 1-1 at home to Birmingham on Tuesday, equalising through Josh McEachran but were then unable to capitalise on the visitors spending the last quarter of the game with ten men.

Looking Ahead

Brentford have Ollie Watkins fit again after he missed out on Tuesday night with a foot problem while Rico Henry and Emiliano Marcondes both remain out.

They do have Said Benrahma back from a one-match ban served on Tuesday and he comes back into the reckoning.

Points of Interest

Brentford have certainly not impressed on the road this season with no wins, three draws and two losses. They lost 1-0 at Elland Road last season having won 3-1 at home to Leeds.
