Alvaro Morata came on to score in injury-time as Juventus got out of jail against Ferencváros. Myrto Uzuni gave the visitors a shock lead before Cristiano Ronaldo equalised and Dénes Dibusz's howler gifted Morata the late winner.

Andrea Pirlo left Morata on the bench - pairing Paulo Dybala with Ronaldo up front. The two linked for the first real chance of the match when Ronaldo stood up a cross for the Argentine who forced a save from Dibusz.

Slow start overall from Juventus and they looked shaky at the back. Matthijs de Ligt caught out of position, Danilo lost his balance and Alex Sandro deflected Tokmac Nguen's cross into the path of Uzuni for the opener.

The Bianconeri continued to move the ball at a pedestrian pace and made few penetrative passes but individual brilliance from Ronaldo saw them level. The Portuguese star hit a fierce left foot finish from distance.

Morata replaced the increasingly quiet Dybala and the Spaniard immediately looked more dangerous. He slipped in Ronaldo who was denied by Dibusz and Morata struck the post after going through on goal.

Juan Cuadrado continued to make tireless forward runs from right-back and he got his second assist of the game at the death. Morata met the Colombian's cross with a tame header that Dibusz allowed the squirm in.

Relief in the end for Juventus after a surprisingly hard fought win but Morata's late goal confirms their place in the knockout stages. Heartbreak for Ferencváros to leave with nothing after a spirited effort.
