Mouscron produced yet another miracle escape on the last day of the regular season and will be hoping that they continue their existence in the top-flight, even if they once again look like one of the weakest sides. Mircea Rednic will have pretty much a brand new group of players to work with as a huge number of players have moved on after the end of their loan deals. Mouscron will once again act mostly as a vessel for players from other clubs that need playing time and there will certainly be lots more transfer movement on their part before the end of August. All of that makes the manager's task very difficult indeed and it is quite tough to see Mouscron being anything other than a battler at the bottom end of the table. The good thing for them is that just one team is getting relegated this term and they will still fancy their chances of being at least a bit better than one other side in the division. Decent players like Mahmoud Hassan, Simon Diedhiou and David Hubert have moved onto pastures new while the additions so far have been mostly underwhelming. Bruno Godeau is a solid player at the back while Jonathan Bolingi, arriving from Standard on loan, may prove to be a good signing as well. The experienced Logan Bailly is set to be the new number one keeper but he hasn't played a lot in recent seasons and has generally been known for his howlers more than his saves. Overall, Mouscron remain very much a work in progress in terms of squad assembling and Mircea Rednic faces a rather tough task in trying to construct a half-decent side from the players he has been given so far.
