Huesca achieved a bounce-back promotion in 2019/20 by winning the second division. They hired Michel, a talented young coach who was perhaps unfairly let go by Rayo Vallecano last time he was in the top division, and Michel proved that he has plenty of coaching talent. Huesca also had a good squad as they’d kept several of the players from the relegated side and they also made several loan signings. Many of these loanees have since departed, though, and they haven’t really been replaced. Huesca, then, still have some transfer work to do before the window closes. This Huesca side was quite a balanced team as they won promotion last year. They had the fifth most goals in the division and the fifth fewest conceded, so were good at both ends of the pitch. They’ve remained so during pre-season, where they’ve looked really good, and they certainly seen stronger now than when they came up last time, when they endured a difficult 2018/19 – their only ever top-flight season until now.

Target

Avoiding relegation. As is the case for all promoted sides, staying up is the only and ultimate goal.
