Last season was absolutely a tough one for the South coast city side as they have been unable to catch the stability. That is why they have seen the coach changing twice. At the end, the current coach Joao Pereira could manage to keep the team at top level. With him, they have suffered only one defeat in the last 7 fixtures. This summer, it could be said that they have weakened defensively as the fans have seen the departures of Balkovec, Aksoy and Richard. Especially, there is no trustable support players in every part of the backline for the Portuguese coach ahead of the new season. On other hand, the offence line looks the best part of the team at the moment. Cordova and Hwang, who have produced 17 goals totally, stayed in the team. They have brought former Besiktas attacker Guven & young Nigerian attacker Ogundu. The fans are also hopeful about the performance of Kaya who came from the 1st league football. In midfield, they added Muanza & Celik from relegated Adana Demir. It was criticized by the local media but the coach gave them the vote of confidence. Last season, their defensive performance was the biggest problem. It seems like it may continue this season too. If they can keep their offensive level well, they can get what they want.

Target

Survival should be their top priority. The cup could be ignored in order to reach it.
