Last season, Adana Demir did a great job and, with a 4th place finish in the league, deserved to go to Europe for the 1st time in the club history. Following this success, the fans await to see more from their club. At this point, a very tough challenge awaits new coach Patrick Kluivert who replaced coach Montella. First of all, his team will kick off the new season earlier than other teams which is not a familiar situation for them. When most of the Turkish clubs compete in the qualifiying rounds of Europe, they face difficulties in next stages of the season. So, the fans wonder how their team will react to this situation. In order to cope with that, former Ajax Amsterdam and Barcelona star Kluivert should have managed to build a wide range squad so far but the Dutch coach failed to do so yet. They look short in some part of the team. Especially, at center back they need to be strengthened as soon as possible. Last season, they had Akaydin, Morel, Cetin and Rakitskiy. Now, they only have Guler and inexperienced Manev. The board added Gravillon to them. The French center-back was not a 1st-team material in Torino coming as a loanee after losing his regular place in Reims in the 1st part of the season. The midfield looks the strongest department of the team with Stambouli, Belhanda, Akbaba, Ndiaye but there are question marks in offence. New signing Nani has a decent career but he has has missed several matches in the recent years. Onyekuru & Akintola were unable to meet the expectations last season. Considering that Gulbrandsen is also not very productive, they need to bring fresh faces to the offence line.

Target


They cannot go further than a midtable finish, if they do not sign more players. If they struggle in the league, which is very possible, the cup could turn into a season target for them.
