Kasimpasa finished 10th last season but only 3 points above the relegation zone. Come the end of February Kasimpasa looked in deep trouble. Then a managerial change in early April brought a series of wins and that’s why Kasimpasa secured safety with 2 games to spare. Coach Kemal Ozdes only just now has the opportunity to put his mark on the squad. He did well once taking charge in April. Although, even after he took over the passive away displays didn’t improve. Kasimpasa scored only 16 away goals in 18 matches last season. The summer so far had been difficult. The max exodus of regulars, most of those loanees that returned to their parent clubs, left Kasimpasa with a very trimmed squad. The only notable new signing so far is centre-back Omeruo. All the other additions are of unknown quality. Of course, Kasimpasa are likely to do what they do every year. During the final week of transfer activity they will likely add 4 to 8 players on loan. At least half of those will be from big clubs and will play often. Right now Kasimpasa need every single one of those loanees if they are to stand any chance of survival.

Target

Avoiding relegation is the ultimate goal. Might struggle to do that.
