Galatasaray managed to win the title after four years again and enjoyed their 23rd league championship. Between November and March, they were absolutely incredible as they built a 14-game winning league run. Beside their quality squad, competing only in the league was the biggest factor of their success. This season, coach Okan Buruk knows that it will be more difficult to compete in three different competitions. That is why he tried to build a wide range squad and he did so far. First of all, they signed Mauro Icardi, who has produced 23 goals & 8 assists in the last season, on a permanent deal which was a must. They already had Mertens, Akgun, Kerem, Baris in the offence zone. The board also brought Bakambu and Zaha in. So, their offensive power turned into a nightmare for the opponents. The midfield is also another strong department for the Lions. Along with Torreira, Oliveira, Berkan and Zaniolo, the coach had lots of options and he added Demirbay from Leverkusen. Nobody knows how long Muslera will continue to play football but he is still acceptable despite some mistakes. At this point, the board added Guvenc from Gaziantep FK which left no worry on the net. Last season, they conceded the fewest number of goals. The board added Kaan Ayhan on a permanent deal. He will compete with Nelsson, Bardakci and Bayram at center back. Especially, left-back responsibility will belong to new arrival Angelino in Europe.

Target


Title. They have the strongest squad at the moment on paper. If they cope with the busy Schedule, they can repeat their success. Success in Europe and a cup title are also in their mind.
