Produced an impressive display to defeat WSG Tirol 3-1 away from home last weekend. The opening phase of the game was a little wild but Austria Klagenfurt remained a consistent threat throughout, and deserved the points.
As if getting over Pink's departure wasn't hard enough, problems now brew in attack with both Binder and Soto carrying knocks. They'll both be out until mid-August or so. That said, Karweina was particularly dangerous last match so a solution may be manifesting itself.
New midfielder May is carrying an injury.
Straudi preferred on the right to Bonnah due to impressive form, and the same goes on the opposite flank with Schumacher preferred to Jaritz.
Their manager was quick to urge caution after drawing praise due to their strong win in Tirol, citing that they've still lost five important players and that the result made the game look easier than it was.
Promising youngster Aaron-Sky Schwarz has joined on loan from Rapid Vienna. It may not be optimal for him to debutise in a derby.
Heavy rainfall led to the game being postponed on 05/08; it has now been moved to 09/08.

Overcame newly-promoted Blau-Weiss Linz 2-1 last weekend. Held the newbies at arm's length rather well, and took their chances. A slight concern was that they didn't create as many chances as they'd have liked.
Novak, Veratschnig and Baribo were again absentees from the squad for the game last time out. The latter's transfer to Philadelphia Union has now been confirmed. The reason for the omission of Veratschnig remains a mystery. Jasic and Baumgartner's presence makes Novak's injury somewhat irrelevant, but they do miss Veratschnig.
New forward Bamba is still wrestling with the Austrian authorities to get a visa. Until then, he's ineligible to play. The same goes for new midfielder Altunashvili.
Changes should not be required following their win last time out.
