In Brief

Grabher out. Diaby/Moltenis doubts. Rhein may start. Schierl, Diallo, Grujcic cleared to play.

Looking Back

Picked up a good point in the away game against Wolfsberger AC, although it felt more like a loss as they led since just after HT, and only conceded a sickening equaliser at the death, although a draw was the least their dominant hosts deserved from the game.

Looking Ahead

Midfielder Rhein again only made the bench last match. Will be a starter in due course but is struggling to break into the eleven for now, although Grabher's injury could spur it along.

Their best attacker so far this season - Fridrikas - is injured. He should be back in time for the derby against SCR Altach. A big loss; hard to imagine who will score their goals now.

May have picked up a good point against Wolfsberger AC but it cost them four players in injury; Schierl, Diallo, Grabher, and Grujcic. Most have recovered in time but Grabher is out.

New defender Boris Moltenis is yet to receive a work permit.

Attacker Diaby is rated as 50/50; a big loss if he fails.

In Brief

Rotation possible (Wlodarczyk coming in). Schnegg suspended. Prass close to leaving. Jatta may debutise if he receives a work permit in time. Stankovic, Hierlander, Kiteishvili, Wuthrich all late doubts - 50/50.

Looking Back

Weren't at their best whilst hosting Austria Klagenfurt at the weekend. Never truly got going, and then Schnegg's red card was enough to kill the game, although either team could have won it in the second-half.

Were again defeated by PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League midweek but this time at least gave a good account of themselves. Simply outclassed over two legs.

Looking Ahead

Following his red card for a professional foul last weekend, defensive regular Schnegg is suspended. Dante is a good deputy though.

Attacking regular Sarkaria has a hamstring injury. Not a huge loss with Wlodarczyk in the form he is but still a good attacking option. He is likely to miss all remaining August matches.

Rotation possible due to fixture congestion. Unclear how much their Europa League match next week will matter when compared to their Bundesliga commitments. Wlodarczyk may start as part of the rotation. Further changes will depend on the injuries being carried by other players.

Following their exit from the UCL, the Austrian media are convinced that Prass is on his way out of the club with the club having already lined up Seedy Jatta as a replacement. The latter has now officially signed, and may debutise if he receives a work permit in time. Prass is believed to be on the list to feature in this game as a final swansong.

The midweek game has taken its toll on the team with regulars Hierlander, Kiteishvili, Stankovic, and Wuthrich all carrying knocks. They are all 50/50 for this game. Would be huge losses if they all failed; only Kiteishvili and Wuthrich can be partially replaced.
