In Brief

Jatta is out. Schnegg returns. Kiteishvili, Wuthrich, and Stankovic returned last match. Prass gamble could backfire. Jantscher's swansong. Borkovic, Sarkaria, Hierlander back in training.

Looking Back

Claimed a hard-fought three points by defeating SCR Altach 1-0 away from home at the weekend. Were the better team but had to retreat in the second-half because of Cisse's threat. Lost Jatta to injury.

Looking Ahead

Regular LB Schnegg returns from suspension but may not be able to displace Dante, who has been playing well. Fellow defender Borkovic is back in training after injury, and is 50/50 here - not a loss if he fails.

Attacking regular Sarkaria has a hamstring injury. Not a huge loss with Wlodarczyk in the form he is but still a good attacking option. He is back in training, and rated as 50/50 here.

Kiteishvili, Stankovic, and Wuthrich all shook off knocks to play last match but Hierlander was unable to do so until recently. The latter can be replaced well enough because they've got good depth in that area although the Prass debacle could make it more problematic than it should be. Hierlander is rated as 50/50 now that he's back in training.

The expectation in Austria is that Prass will leave the club this week, hence the signing of Jatta. However, Jatta is now injured until late October/November or so, which could leave them short of options in terms of creativity. Prass has not yet left so may make the bench. However, with club legend Jantscher about to seal a transfer to play in Hong Kong, it's likelier that the latter will be on the bench to make his final bow.

In Brief

Dobras returns. Rotation likely. Haudum could be benched. Brandner is doubtful. Windhager injured.

Looking Back

Were hammered 5-0 at home by Rapid Vienna last time out. An utterly atrocious first-half showing laid the foundations for the massacre, and even the improvement in the second-half wasn't nearly enough.

Looking Ahead

Rotation likely following a shocking first-half against Rapid Vienna, and a plethora of individual errors to boot. Subsequently, Mensah, Golles, and Dobras may start.

New defender Pasic is carrying a groin injury.

Veteran creator Dobras made his long-awaited debut last time out.

Midfielder Tursch has been absent of late; he has a serious cruciate ligament injury but is not missed.

Although a regular, Haudum did not do his chances of starting any good last match by coming off the bench only to give a penalty away.

Captain Brandner missed the last game with a slight niggle, and is doubtful again here. Normally it'd be a big loss but he's been benched for poor form lately anyway. Still, they need their Captain to help keep the team together during this bad run. Should be able to make the bench at least.

RWB Windhager has an ankle injury; unclear as to the severity. Backup RWB Golles has done well when used this season though, so no concerns.
