Made the 0-0 draw against Blau-Weiss Linz last weekend more interesting than it sounded. Were the far better team in the first-half but didn't capitalise. Their hosts outplayed them in the second-half and could have won it. A draw was fair in the end.
Backup GK Knaller has an ankle injury; not a loss whilst Menzel is fit.
Long-term casualties Robatsch, Soto, and Binder have been given the all-clear to return to team training. Robatsch and Binder now officially available. Binder won't be missed if he fails. New midfielder May is out for a while longer yet. Youngster Kujrakovic joins them on the sidelines due to injury; not a loss.
No reason to change their 3-5-2 nor the personnel in it; they've looked solid lately, even if they have lacked a bit of confidence in the final third.

Lost 2-0 at home against Real Sociedad in the UCL midweek. A strong start by the Spaniards saw them go ahead early on; Salzburg were nowhere to be seen in the first-half. Improved in the second-half but the away win was never in doubt.
Smashed Austria Lustenau 4-0 at the weekend in a very one-sided affair; men vs boys.
Rotation option Omoregie is back after long-term injury but may still be omitted.
Young CB Baidoo may start - he's been preferred to any other CBs lately. Solet's unconvincing showing midweek may mean that he moves to the bench.
Rotation possible due to fixture congestion.
Attack is now only a slight problem with Fernando having picked up a new injury; unclear how serious but shouldn't be missed - lots of depth, even with rotation striker Koita injured.
Backup CB Okoh suffered a bad injury in the game against Internazionale, and may not play again in 2023. Young defender Wallner is now back though.
Midfield regular Bidstrup returned from his injury in the midweek match, which is fortuitous as fellow countryman midfielder Kjaergaard is injured again.
Rotation option Morgalla may be omitted.
Key attacker Sucic and rotation midfielder Kameri are 50/50 due to illness; shouldn't be a problem if either fail as the former hasn't long been back from injury.
