Were soundly beaten 3-0 by Salzburg in the Bundesliga at the weekend. Were out of their depth, and their tactical gambles backfired.
Defeated Blau-Weiss Linz 2-0 in the Cup midweek. Not much separated them; SCR Altach were more fortunate/clinical on the day.
Regular RWB Reiner should be able to return this week. Has been missed with the manager preferring to drop Gebauer further back rather than field Ingolitsch.
Rotation options Zwischenbrugger, Aigner, and Reiter may be omitted.
Rotation attacker Santos Costa is close to a return; was rested again last weekend after injury predominantly as a precaution against rushing him back.
Rotation midfielder Bukta is available but has been building fitness after a long time out; not a loss.
Some rotation likely after a poor showing against Salzburg plus a midweek match.
Key midfielder Jager suspended for an accumulation of yellow cards. A big loss; not someone that can be replaced. Prietl may have to fill in despite not having been at the club for long.
Regular shot stopper Stojanovic missed their weekend match with a hand injury but made his return midweek.

Played out a frantic 3-3 draw with LASK in the Bundesliga last weekend. A draw was a fair outcome, given the mistakes both teams made.
Crushed part-timers Amstetten 5-1 in the Cup midweek despite rotating their squad. Never in doubt from the start; easy win.
Suffered a huge blow when Captain Cvetkovic tore a cruciate ligament. He's been amazing so it's a big problem that he'll be out for a long time, most likely until the end of 2023. Kongolo has done quite well since arriving but he's injured. Luckily, Hofmann should be able to return from illness.
Rotation options Bajic, Greil, & Kaygin may be omitted.
Regular CDM Sattlberger is suspended following his red card against LASK. Shouldn't be an issue with Grgic/Oswald ready to step in.
Rotation possible because of fixture congestion.
Key striker Burgstaller missed the midweek match with a slight knock but will definitely participate here.
