In Brief

Lost 3-2 to West Ham on the road before the international break. Missing the injured Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, James Milner, Naby Keita, Joe Gomez and Roberto Firmino. Have injury doubts over another three starters.

Looking Back

Against West Ham, they experienced their first defeat in 17 games in all competitions this season (12W, 4D, 1L). Currently sitting 4th in the Premier League. Have already progressed to the UCL Round of 16 with two games in hand.

Looking Ahead

Problem in midfield as only three midfielders are currently fully fit.

Starting midfielder Elliott is out with long-term injury.

Sometimes starting midfielder James Milner out through a knock.

Sometimes starting midfielder Naby Keita suffered a hamstring injury. Will miss this one.

Sometimes starting midfielder Curtis Jones will miss out due to an eye injury.

Starting striker Roberto Firmino picked up serious hamstring injury. Will miss this one.

Backup centre-back Joe Gomez suffered a calf injury. Not fit yet.

Starting forward Sadio Mane picked up rib knock, but trained with the team. Back in contention.

In Brief

Grabbed a 1-0 win over Watford before the international break. Missing Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac due to an injuries. Folarin Balogun is fit. Thomas Partey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are injury doubts.

Looking Back

Unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions (8W, 2D) despite their slow start to the campaign. Currently sitting 5th in the table after starting the season with three consecutive defeats.

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is in great form. Arsenal are undefeated and have kept as many as 6 clean sheets in 9 games since he established himself into the starting line-up back in September.

Coach Arteta has shifted to a 4-4-1-1 formation in the last few games, with Alexandre Lacazette playing behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack and the new system seems to be working for the time being.

Looking Ahead

Starting midfielder Granit Xhaka will be sidelined at least until December.

Starting midfielder Thomas Partey missed the Watford duel due to injury, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles covering for him. Doubtful for this one.

Backup defender Sead Kolasinac suffered ankle injury on international duty. Will miss this game.

Backup forward Folarin Balogun suffered from stomach cramps. He is in contention.

Starting striker Aubameyang returned to the club early from international duty. Coach Arteta to make late decision on whether he'll start him. Could start Lacazette in attack and play with an extra midfielder if Aubameyang misses out.
