Out

Returned to the top flight after a single season. Suffered from some poor spells including 4 draws from their last 6 games but managed the title win thanks to slip ups from other teams. Were strong in attack throughout, with a good spread of players contributing goals. Strenghtened the squad well over the close season. Players with experience in Scotland like Tiffoney and Shaughnessy are good acquisitions. Interesting signings from Mexico and on loan from English Premier League clubs could also help the team to compete well. Dundee face a strong league but will be optimistic. They had mixed results in early League Cup games but are still bedding in new signings. They have kept together the bulk of last season's squad so can build on their strengths. Dundee's forward line a major strength. The likes of Cameron, Robinson and Jakubiak all offer strong goalscoring threats and different styles of play. Support from midfielders like Tiffoney and Mulligan can create lots of chances. The squad is still sometimes vulnerable in defence. They often conceded avoidable goals last season and the back line could suffer against quicker and stronger players. If new signings impress, they could help to address this issue.

Target

8th. Team needs to consolidate in a new league. But after some promising signs, they should be able to comfortably avoid relegation.
