A strong start saw Livingston threatening qualification for a top 6 spot. But form tailed off in the 2nd half of the campaign and saw them fall down the table. A deep squad with lots of good options allowed them to manage well with injuries and a strong attacking line impressed. Pre season has been quiet so far. CLub have a reduced playing budget and have made few signings, but managed to hold onto key man like Nouble and Anderson. Team has looked strong in early League Cup games and new signings seem to be bedding in well. Livingston have a solid core with lots of good physical players. They work well as a unit and are performing effectively under the guidance of Martindale. New midfielder Sangare can help them to add more strength in this area. The squad lacks a little creativity. Last season, they were often predictable and resorted to an overly direct style of play. New signings may help to fix this issue but most players still rely on physical strength and pace. Despite reduced budget for this campaign, things at Livingston seem positive. If they can keep their main players and integrate new signings quickly, they will have a good chance of improving on the last campaign.

Target

6th. Team has been improving in recent seasons, a little more improvement could see them finally crack the top 6.
