Good away win against Chapecoense. Third consecutive win puts Botafogo in a safe position. Lindoso returns from suspension. Kieza will be available.
Botafogo got yet another win, this time when visiting the struggling Chapecoense. A goal on the later stage of the match made the difference, but it was all in all a fair win for Fogão.
This was the third time in a row that Botafogo got victorious, and this good recent form has practically took them out of danger. Even if Botafogo loses all matches from now on, it is almost impossible that all the teams below Fogão on the table will be climbing on the table enough spots to bring Botafogo down to the red zone. Because of direct confrontations, there will always be some teams dropping points, necessarly.
Highly influential midfielder Rodrigo Lindoso will be coming back after having spent the last match out on a suspension. Lindoso will retain his post on the cnetre of the pitch.
The striker Kieza is also back to availability. K-9 is recovered from a foot injury, but having had only one training session before the match, the striker should be sitting on the bench when the games starts.
Despite being on loan from Interncional, the striker Brenner will be allowed to play, as there's nothing on his loan contract that says the opposite. Brenner will then be leading Alvinegro's attack.
The two men that are returning are the highest goalscorers of the club since coach Zé Ricardo arrived at the club, with five goals scored each.
