Sheffield United

In Brief

Won first home game of season and enjoying far better start to campaign than expected. Fleck faces late fitness test, but Robinson passed fit.

Looking Back

Blades defying odds so far with 4 points from 2 games. Last weekend first home game in Premier League in 12 years brought 1:0 success vs. Palace.

Hard to say displays have been impressive, but dedicated work from everyone and lots of luck allowed for this start to happen.

Looking Ahead

Coach Wilder had the luxury in the first 2 games to work with full squad, but now he might be forced into changes. Both Fleck and Robinson taken off injured in last game. Former rated as 50/50 by manager, but Robinson shrugged his knock quickly and available.

McGoldrick not providing much threat in attack and McBurnie could replace him.

In Brief

Opened campaign with back-to-back draws. Hunger for first win growing. Chilwell only injury concern.

Looking Back

Leicester did well to come from behind on visit to Chelsea and at 1:1 Foxes were closer to the win late on. Still second consecutive draw registered in the end.

Both displays so far solid, but not hugely impressive. Currently there are issues with Vardy leading attack, with the 32-year-old looking a step slower this season. Considering that speed is his main weapon this is serious issue.

Looking Ahead

Coach Rodgers considers pushing likes of Perez and Maddison closer to Vardy for this one, which could also see Albrighton starting in 4-2-3-1 shape.

Main left-back Chilwell hurt his hip in warm up for last match and wasn’t risked. It doesn’t seem to be anything serious, but still he is not expected to return this weekend.

Points of Interest

Since arriving in Premier League last January Youri Tielemans is the third most effective midfielder in entire league in terms of passing efficiency.
