In Brief

Worst defence in top flight – 10 goals conceded in 4 rounds. Roberts ineligible to face parent club. Squad crippled by 7 injuries. Also have Krul and Godfrey doubtful. Captain Hanley not fit to start.

Looking Back

Norwich have been hit by serious defensive issues so far and logically Canaries have weakest defence in entire top flight – 10 goals conceded already!

Not afraid to be aggressive at home though and 5 goals scored in 2 home outings, with only win so far also achieved in front of own fans.

Looking Ahead

Coach Farke having even greater problems at the back for this one after right-back Aarons and Godfrey sustained serious injuries while on international duty, former out for more than a month. With Klose and Zimmermann already out and captain Hanley fit only for 20-30 minutes off the bench there isn't a single centre-back available!

On top of that main holding midfielder Trybull, started every game so far, hurt his ankle in training and he will miss next 6 weeks. As if this not enough Vrancic and Leitner also ruled out injured. Hernandez the other long-term absentee, while Roberts can’t face his parent club.

Main goalie Krul also a doubt due to elbow problem, but he hopes to recover on time.

Points of Interest

Norwich attempt only 10 shots per game so far, with Pukki and Stiepermann attributed 5.4 of those goal attempts!

In Brief

Continue to have strongest attack in league, 14 goals scored in 4 rounds. Sane and Laporte sidelined. Mendy fitness doubt. Jesus, Gundogan and Stones expected back.

Looking Back

City have by far best attack in league already – 14 goals scored in 4 rounds.

Both De Bruyne and Aguero had major contributions in every round so far, between them they already have 7 goals and 6 assists!

Looking Ahead

Coach Guardiola had to reshape back line after serious injury sustained by Laporte in last round. Fit-again Stones or Fernandinho the main options to fill the void.

Jesus passed fit after recent injury, while Gundogan expected to overcome mild sickness on time.

Sane other long-term absentee, but Mendy back in training and despite still unlikely to start he is closing in on return.

Points of Interest

Aguero clinical! Argentine scored with each of his last 7 shots on target in the Premier League.
