In Brief

League form took nose dive in last 2 months – (W1 D2 L4)! Yet to concede in FA Cup. Vardy set to miss. Mendy doubtful.

Looking Back

Foxes once again disappointed on Friday night when losing 0:1 on visit to bottom-dwellers Norwich. Combination of toothless forward actions and shaky defending, especially out wide, brought this defeat.

League form took serious dip in 2020 with Leicester no longer in touch with top 2 after losing 4 of last 7 league games.

In FA Cup met Championship teams in both rounds played and on both occasions able to keep clean sheets – 2:0 vs. Wigan and 1:0 vs. Brentford.

Looking Ahead

Coach Rodgers eager for long run in this competition, especially since this only chance to win silverware. With that in mind he is expected to select strong squad, even if he rotates on 2-3 places.

Top scorer Vardy won't be risked, but this only serious problem. Ndidi set to return to starting XI after recent spell out.

Birmingham City

In Brief

Enter tie as heavy outsiders, but promising to be brave. Unbeaten since 01st of January – (W5 D8)! Maghoma and 2 others remains out, but Mrabti fully fit. Bela ruled out after last game.

Looking Back

Birmingham made it 4 consecutive league draws at weekend when able to score late equaliser on visit to QPR and save 2:2 result. Hogan scored both goals in this match and he has been on fire lately – 6 goals in last 7 matches!

Blues might still struggle for wins, but they are proving very hard to beat ever since turn of the year and currently enjoy 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions (W5 D8).

FA Cup run far from smooth so far, narrow 2:1 home win vs. Blackburn followed by 2 draws vs. Coventry and lucky penalty shootout success.

Looking Ahead

Coach Clotet certain to trust Hogan up front again and if he is brave enough he could stick to 4-4-2 shape that has made Blues so hard to beat in last 2 months.

Mrabti is fully fit and option again, but Maghoma remains out injured. Also impressive in last 2 months Bela injured last weekend and set to be out for 3-4 weeks.
