A clinical second half display helped Bayern Munchen wrap up the group stage in the Champions League with a victory as they secured a fairly comfortable 2-0 win over Lokomotiv Moscow.
Bayern had nothing to play for, having already secured their place in the knockout stages as the group leaders, and the hosts struggled for inspiration in the first half.
The hosts dominated the possession but were finding it difficult to make effective use of the ball with clear chances at a premium though Costa and Muller did miss a couple of decent opportunities late in the first half.
The tempo picked up after the break with Sule, Gnabry and Choup-Moting all forcing sharp saves out of Guilherme while Sane also missed a decent effort from inside the box.
The pressure finally told just past the hour mark as Bayern grabbed a deserved lead with Sule heading home Costa's delivery from a corner.
With Lokomotiv struggling to create chances, Bayern were rarely troubled at the back and put the result beyond doubt 10 minutes from time with Choupo-Moting doubling their advantage to secure a comfortable victory in the end
Bayern were not at their best in terms of attack, especially in the first half, but with Lokomotiv struggling to put up a fight, the hosts did not come under much pressure before an improvement after the break helped secure the three points
