Were gutted to draw 3-3 at home against Wolfsberger AC having dominated for long periods. Only Kongolo's red card got the away team back in the game.
Rotation defender Hoffmann has an ankle injury; unclear how serious but it kept him out of recent matches.
New defender Kongolo is suspended following his sending off last match. Quite a considerable issue as they're running out of options at the back.
Suffered a huge blow when Captain Cvetkovic tore a cruciate ligament. He's been amazing so it's a big problem that he'll be out for a long time, most likely until the end of 2023.
After a period of rehabilitation following injury, it's understood that Pejic will be available in the near future.
Key striker Burgstaller is still carrying an injury; a huge blow as Mayulu couldn't hit a barn door half of the time, and Grull is not a typical striker (plus has struggled since being linked with a move away from the club). The latest is that Burgstaller will be out until mid-October at the earliest.
Regular RB Schick is injured. Kasanwirjo is an able deputy. Schick is looking to return in the next week or two.
New winger Gale has finally received his work visa but is unlikely to debutise in a game of this magnitude.

Produced a good showing against Sporting Clube de Portugal midweek despite losing 2-1. Held their own well for 70 mins and two individual errors cost them.
Both Kiteishvili and Sarkaria were substituted early in the midweek match. Kiteishvili is fine, but Sarkaria has a slight knock. However, the expectation from the manager is that he'll be available for this match.
New attacker Jatta is now injured until late October/November or so. They're ok without Jatta for now.
At risk of retrospective punishment from the Austrian FA for their fans delaying the match against Salzburg for 15 minutes due to pyrotechnics.
Rotation midfielder Serrano is a doubt after surprisingly swallowing a bee in training, which promptly stung him in the throat. He missed the midweek game because of it, and is a doubt here. Not a problem if he's out.
