Football Season Review

№7: Orebro

It was a decent season for Orebro which finished at the 7th place, just over the middle of the league table. They relied a lot in their good performance at home where they had 8 wins in 15 matches and only 4 losses, setting them in the 4th place among all the other teams. Their performance on the road was slightly worse so at the end the balance classified them to the middle of the table as expected. Besara was the top goalscorer of the team with 12 goals in a total of 37 goals scored by the whole team, meaning that he was scoring about 32% of the team's goals. That's why he can entitled as the player of the season for Orebro. The loans of Hummet, Skovgaard and Gall end this winter so Orebro must find a way to replace them as they were all decent contributors for the team. Orebro had an excellent second round and, especially after late August, the team had 8 wins in the last 13 matches. It is remarkable that Orebro gathered the most points than any other team in the league in the period between 26th of August till the end of the season (25 points). In total the season can be defined as satisfying without excelling but without facing any problems as well in the same time

Player of the Season: Nahir Besara
