Anyang had an excellent first-ever season in the K1. They survived with games to spare and finished above the reigning champions Ulsan. They adapted and developed throughout the season from a team in a low block to one capable of pressing high and transitioning effectively. They have lost their top scorer Bruno Mota, while additions have been slow to come in. They have been successful in renewing the contracts of key players. They should be good enough to finish around midtable again having kept the core of the team. Strengths - Matheus and Kotte have stayed with a few additions but most of the side have been kept together. They finished the season really well so will hope to build on that momentum with a year's experience under their belts. Weaknesses - resources are limited with backup options for the first Xi considerably weaker. New striker is a bit of an unknown for this league.

Target

Midtable would be a successful season with a top half finish a more ambitious aim.
