Ulsan are coming off their worst season in over a decade and the end of their mini-dynasty after three title wins in a row. They were incredibly lucky to finish 9th just outside of the relegation playoff spot and could've been relegated if the season had been a little longer. Internal disputes between coach and players while fans boycotted the management's poor handling of things. A very bad 2025 A new coach has been hired but not the big name that many expected but a manager with most of his experience in K2 and with not big achievements on his CV. A few players have left while not many have come in. The team's outlook isn't too positive at the moment with the likelihood that they reclaim their title quite unlikely. They will be expected to mount some challenge to the top of the table but they will have to make a lot of changes still to do that. Strengths - Dong-gyeong Lee is one of the best players in the league and his return to the team at the end of last season improved their quality and with a full season will likely push them back up the table. Weaknesses - Unproven manager and no new additions that have improved the team. Foreign players underperformend last year and it remains to be seen if they are the right fit for the team. Internally fans are still unhappy with how last season was dealt with by the powers above so they are still not all singing from the same hymn sheet

Target

They will be expected to mount a title challenge by their fans and need to put last season's debacle behind them. 1st-2nd would be acceptable.
