Fulham spent the vast majority of the 2024/25 season in mid-table before finishing 11th in another solid campaign under Marco Silva. Only five teams picked up more away points than the Cottagers (28), but six losses in their last nine games didn’t allow Fulham to compete for a much-coveted European spot. Fulham have been probably the quietest Premier League club in the summer transfer window. A few departures of fridge players were followed by the signing of a second-choice keeper in Benjamin Lecomte. Their squad is currently quite complete should they manage to stay healthy this term. Taking into account that their spine has been kept intact, Silva is expected to field the same starting XI as last season with just a few tweaks. Fulham have had a solid pre-season, with winger Harry Wilson and midfielder Emile Smith Rowe impressing in the friendlies. The likes of Smith Rowe, Andreas Pereira, Sander Berge, Harrison Reed, Tom Carney and Sasas Lukic offer Silva variety and versatility in a midfield that looks more complete than those of the other mid-table sides. Yet, what this team lacks is a consistent finisher. Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz, who compete for the starting spot, are rather streaky in front goal, with scoring runs being followed by long droughts.

Target

Fulham will look to better last season’s position. Given that they didn’t lose any starters, the last European spot may not be out of reach.
