A relegation playoff win saved what was a seemingly doomed campaign. A poor start and a change of manager meant the whole campaign was a struggle. Putting back to back wins together only happened twice in the season and too many draws (16). A full preseason in Turkey playing European opposition for coach Yoon Jong-hwan will be of some help as well as bringing in a number of new players. Replacing key player Dae-won Kim and Min-woo Seo are the major issues but they have added depth in midfield and full back. The squad looks pretty competent at present with the key being adapting to the manager's style, which with the mid-season last year was a struggle for both players and coach. In the last five games there were positive signs of improvement in this regard. Tuci at centre back was a great mid-season signing and Gabriel at forward also was key to turning things around in the last part of the season. If these two continue that form they should do better than last season. Their new signings all have something to prove in K1 so could add hunger to the team. Their main transfer target at LW was not for sale and they are carrying some dead weight in certain positions. Their other three foreign players Gallego, Yago and Welinton Junior didn't meet expectations and could leave in the summer. May rely on 17 year-old Min-hyuk Yang at LW.

Target

Survival most likely although the chairman does speak with ambition. If they can finish mid-table that will be a successful season for them.
