The team changed manager after a shocking fun of form from May, after an initial strong start to the season. They limped over the finish line just 1 win in 12 games. A semi-final in the Fa Cup was about the only positive thing in a very forgettable campaign. A new coach has been appointed in Kim Hak-beom, who is very experienced but not managed in the league since 2017. His first decision was to cancel preseason in Thailand in favour of Jeju where it was snowing An addition of two more Brazilian players brings the total to four in an otherwise quiet window. Hard to imagine they have a worse campaign than 2023 and there is some hope with the change of manager and new signings. Not too much in the way of reports of preseason friendlies with the coach preferring to use the time for training. Keeping hold of Reis, Young-jun Choi and Dong-jun Kim means the team have a very good spine and players who are among the best in the league. Their early form last season shows that they are capable of reaching the top half. Travel is often cited as a problem for the side who are an island based team so dealing with that and adjusting to the new manager. Their U22 player is unclear and was an issue last season with first half subs common place. Lack of goals was also a concern so they need to correct that.

Target

Top half finish will be their aim but with the change in coach mid table and avoiding the drop might be more realistic.
