A successful campaign in the end after a slow start to the season. A top half finish from a team balancing continental football for the first time was good. Just missing out on an FA Cup final, last 16 of the Asian Champions League and a top 4 finish was unfortunate. Not many incomings after a bit of a power struggle at board level, which has now been resolved. The success of a number of young players last season will see the team put their trust in them and existing players once more. The squad looks pretty strong but will already have some injury concerns with Bo-seop Kim missing the first half of the season and Delbridge and Jin-ho Shin also struggling for match fitness at the start of the season. New additions are good and probably starters with the loss of outgoings well covered. They have strong depth through the spine of the team and played a lot of last season with injury or fitness issues. Mugosa will lead the line and if fit can be top scorer in the league while the mix of youth and experience was very positive towards the end of the season. Fitting all their players into the system will be a challenge and keeping everyone happy. The likes of M'poku, Jin-ho Shin, Myung-joo Lee and Do-hyuk Kim are fighting over two or three positions among others and all are great options but finding the best mix was a challenge last season.

Target

The manager spoke about returning to the ACL so top four but a top half finish will be the target.
