It was a more than excellent first MLS season for Los Angeles FC. Under the experienced Bob Bradley, finishing 3rd in the Western Conference, making the play-offs but losing at the first stages to Real Salt Lake. Despite that disappointing loss in the knockout round, Bradley will be delighted with their opening MLS campaign which also saw them collect the Fair Play Team award. The star of their side is Mexican Carlos Vela who has sparkled in his first MLS season notching 14 goals and assisting 13 and also making the MLS team of 2018. Bradley has tweaked his squad slightly for their second MLS campaign with departures including experienced duo Marcos Urena and Benny Feilhaber. He has retained most of the squad including making Colombian midfielder Eduard Atuesta's loan a permanent move. The Colombian impressed in the heart of midfield making 26 appearances, and Bradley will be delighted to have him back. The coach will be hoping his new Colombian acquisition Eddie Segura can have a similar impact. The left back arrives on loan for the 2019 season aiming to impress like his fellow countryman Atuesta.

Target

Looking to build on that impressive first season and progression in the play-offs would represent an excellent campaign. Bradley will believe his side can emulate Atlanta United's success and win the MLS cup in just their second season.
