LA Galaxy had to pay a big price for failing to win their final game of the regular season as they finished seventh in the Western Conference, missing out on the playoffs for a second straight season. The club has been fairly quiet in terms of transfer activity during the off-season though they have brought in Guillermo Barros Schelotto as the permanent replacement to Sigi Schmid. They have also managed to hold on to Zlatan Ibrahimovic despite some reports that the attacker will cut short his time on the American shores. Ibrahimovic will be part of a familiar offense for LA which includes Ola Kamara and Romain Alessandrini while Uriel Antuna will be fighting it out with Emmanuel Boateng for a spot on the left flank. LA have also re-signed Juninho who will be proving options in the center of the midfield that will include Jonathan Dos Santos, Perry Kitchen and Servando Carrasco. It is at the back where changes could be seen following Ashley Cole's departure. Diego Polenta has been signed but is expected to start in the center of the defense and it will be Jorgen Skjelvik and Dave Romney who will be challenging for a regular spot on the left side of the defense. LA do have the squad that should comfortably finish in the top six of Western Conference but consistency will once again be crucial if they are to end their exile from the playoffs this season.

Target

Will be aiming to end their exile from the playoffs though they should make an impact in the post season as well
