Despite making it into Europe once again this season, they've been somewhat quiet on the transfer front. Considering they lost Valenzuela and Aliseda, more incomings were expected than have arrived. They're clearly confident that Alioski's long-awaited return to the club and the arrival of Kendouci will be enough to replace both - time will tell. Lugano's recruitment does tend to be very good though. Other than that, they've only really lost deadwood and a smidgen of depth thus far. They've added Kelvin to beef up their defence as the understandably expect to lose Hajdari, which has been in the works for at least twelve months now. Mai and Papadopoulous are never going to be far away from the Bundesliga vultures either. The intention from Croci-Torti has been to improve their output in the final third, and he believes he's done so by acquiring Duville-Parsemain. It's a bit of a risk but he'll bring the energy and movement that they want up front, which was evident in Koutsias displacing Przybylko last season. Vladi has a bit of that about him too. They've also added a lot of experience in this position in Kevin Behrens, who is likely to be an impact sub. With Mahmoud's injury likely to keep the impressive midfielder on their books for now, and the emergence of Bislimi, Lugano should be well set this season. They've got good depth and good quality throughout their squad. They know they're going to lose Hajdari so it's not an issue when it happens. If they should lose Saipi or Mahmoud then it could derail them temporarily but in general they've got enough of what it takes to launch a title challenge this season, although it most likely won't be enough to win it.
