In Brief

Survival in league the big priority and not likely to put too much effort in FA Cup. Fredericks, Fabianski, Anderson, Yarmolenko and Wilshere sidelined. Ogbonna, Masuaku and Snodgrass doubtful.

Looking Back

Hammers hammered 1:4 on visit to Leicester in midweek, with team’s defending once again dreadful. Selection choices looked wrong too, with arguably best player post-Christmas Fornals only substitute.

Not liked by fans and most pundits for his old-school tactics and selection choices recently appointed Moyes already under serious pressure. Collected just 1 point from last 3 games in league.

Looking Ahead

Coach Moyes knows that his goal is to save team from relegation and guided by this he is not likely to use many regulars in this game.

Selection choice seriously restricted anyway with Fabianski and Anderson amongst 4 regulars that are out injured. Also Ogbonna, Masuaku and Snodgrass picked up problems in last game and especially last 2 unlikely to feature.

In Brief

Matheus Pereira is banned. Diangana a fresh injury casualty. Harper is a doubt. Gibbs sidelined.

Looking Back

Suffered a dispiriting 1:0 home loss at the hands of Stoke last Monday in the league and are now six games without a victory even if they remain top of the table.

Played against Charlton in the previous round and earned a 1:0 away win.

Looking Ahead

Slaven Bilic heads to his former club in the fourth round of the Cup as the Baggies seek to pull off an upset against West Ham in what is one of the more intriguing games of the round.

Nathan Ferguson was not involved in the last game despite being fit and there remains lots of transfer speculation surrounding him. Grady Diangana suffered an injury early in the last game and will be out for a few weeks. Rakeem Harper remains a doubt while Kieran Gibbs is ruled out.

Portuguese star Matheus Pereira has been handed a three-game ban after elbowing Joe Allen in the last game and the club decided not to appeal.

Points of Interest

The Baggies lost their last game away at the Hammers but have previously drawn six games in a row against them when visiting.
