Burnley

In Brief

Squad inspired after 2:0 win at Old Trafford on Wednesday. Barnes sidelined. Gibson, Bardsley and Gudmundsson doubtful.

Looking Back

Burnley deserved 2:0 winners on visit to Man United on Wednesday, with exemplary defending and 2 goals scored with 2 shots on target bringing the success. This first win at Old Trafford for Clarets since 1962!

In first FA Cup game beat Peterborough 4:2 at home, with Rodriguez netting brace. In-form striker has now scored 3 goals in his last 4 starts in across competitions.

Looking Ahead

Coach Dyche might nothave winger Gudmundsson back from injury + back problems might see right-back Bardsley sitting out. Also Barnes remains in rehabilitation.

Some rotation very likely and likes of Long, Pieters, Brady and Lennon hoping to be given chance to impress.

Norwich City

In Brief

Suffered undeserved 1:2 defeat on visit to Tottenham in midweek. League survival the big priority. Klose remains sidelined. Cantwell and Buendia also absent. McLean and Amadou doubtful. Fahrmann and Vrancic fit. Godfrey suspended.

Looking Back

Norwich were the better team on visit to Tottenham on Wednesday, but after Pukki’s converted first-half penalty Canaries missed numerous chances to score more goals and eventually this was punished with luck helping Spurs to steal 2:1 win.

Back in September failed to offer much resistance on visit to Burnley and lost 0:2.

In first FA Cup game beat Preston (team with best home record in Second Tier) 4:2, with teenager Idah scoring hat-trick in this match.

Looking Ahead

Coach Farke certain to rotate and Idah likely to be rewarded with another cup start up front. Also rarely used in the league recently Trybull, Stiepermann and Hernandez could be given starts.

Fahrmann and Vrancic also could come in contention as they passed fitness tests. Cantwell and Buendia set to miss though. Klose also remains out + Godfrey is suspended.

Amadou and McLean are deemed doubtful.
