Last season, Kasimpasa had the 2nd lowest budget in the Super League, but they did a very good job and could finish in the 8th place. Once again, the board’s logical decisions and the whole team’s efforts brought them a big success. In the summer, they managed to sign him on a permanent deal, but there are still offers for the Egyptian man. So it is not clear whether he will play for Kasimpasa this season or not. Besides that, the board added Ozgur Cek from Caykur Rize and Abdul Khalili from Genclerbirligi. The latter can be a part of coach Kemal Ozdes’ first-team, but the other signing should be backup to Olivier Veigneau at the moment. So far, they could not replace the departures of Mensah, Murillo and Omeruo. That is why their current squad is pretty thin comparing to other teams. Besides that, they acted too late to bring some players this season, because there is a short time before the season’s kick-off. It seems like they could struggle in the early fixtures. There are also some good things. First of all, they have managed to save their defensive structure in general, but Popov needs to have a backup. Last season, captain Veysel Sari had to fill his role when necessary. Up front, the board managed to keep Mbaye Diagne in the team. As his backup, there is only Fode Koita on the coach’s hand. He has spent most of the last season in the recovery. It is not clear how he will perform this season. The signing of one more attacker would allow them not to face any problem during the season.
