Celtic enjoyed a fantastic first season under new manager Postecoglou. Dominated in the league with attack a highlight. New signings Maeda and Furuhashi excelled up front, while the signing of goalkeeper Joe Hart finally solved the club's goalkeeper problem. Postecoglou has continued to shape the squad over the close season with Mooy, Bernebel and Jenz all adding major clarity for the coming campaign. Jota and Carter-Vickers signed permanently after successful loan spells. Rogic is an important departure and leaves alongside plenty of squad players. Celtic have enjoyed a good pre-season, with solid results against strong opposition and new signings seeming to adjust well. Increases in attack power and squad depth bode well for the season ahead. New signing Siegrist provides good back up in the goalkeeping spot. The team is strong across the park, with individual quality in key areas. They have plenty of depth that will come in useful throughout a busy campaign of league and cup games. The team is also well-adjusted tactically and can adopt different styles to good effect. Squad could lack a little depth in midfield and defence, especially with expected heavy runs of fixtures. Injuries to one or two key players could potentially be disastrous.
