Doncaster had a decent season last time around, with the premature end to the campaign robbing them of a chance to battle for promotion, as they finished ninth after the points-per-game were calculated. Sixth-placed a couple of years ago, the Rovers are set for another season under Darren Moore and have not changed too much over the summer. They did suffer one significant blow over the course of the summer, as Kieran Sadlier, who had a superb campaign, was snapped up by Championship returnees Rotherham, but none of the other players who left were regular starters. In fairness, not too much has been done in terms of incoming transfers, although Fejiri Okenabirhie is probably one to look at, as the forward will only now get a chance to prove himself, having joined the club in late January, only to see the season be cut short shortly after that. Doncaster's squad therefore seems to be on a similar level as it was in the season before, with a big weakness of theirs being a lack of depth. They had some injury issues last time around and struggled to cope most of the time. Their eventual finish will highly depend on whether or not they manage to keep everyone fit.

Target

They have been in and around the play-off places in the last two season and will be aiming for more of the same.
