What the Posh will feel far more worried about is the departure of Ivan Toney, who has been sold to Brentford after being by far the best striker in the division last season. While finding a like-for-like replacement for Toney is next to impossible, the Posh have made a really good signing in Jonson Clarke-Harris, who was superb for Bristol Rovers last season prior to suffering an injury that kept him out for weeks. A couple of other eye-catching signings have been made, such as Ethan Hamilton and Reece Brown, and the Posh look well-equipped to challenge this time around.
