Levante return to LaLiga as Segunda División champions and one of the most active clubs in the summer transfer market. Under Julián Calero, they built their promotion on a strong defensive structure, and most signings have focused on reinforcing the back line. Centre-backs Alan Matturro and Matías Moreno bring plenty of potential, while Manu Sánchez (on loan from Celta), Toljan and Víctor García offer solid options out wide. Olasagasti and Arriaga boost the midfield, and Koyalipou adds verticality in the final third. Goalkeeper Pablo Cuñat returns from Cartagena after standing out as one of the best in Segunda last season. With backup Alfonso Pastor out for four weeks following surgery, it remains to be seen if Cuñat will be trusted as the starter or if a new keeper will arrive. Dimitrievski and Pacheco have both been linked. Despite the activity, Levante still operate with one of the lowest budgets in the league. Adapting quickly to LaLiga’s tempo and integrating the new signings—especially those from abroad—will be key. The core group from the promotion campaign remains, which should help provide continuity.

Target

Avoid relegation. The squad looks stronger than last season, but it’s still a steep climb in their return to the top flight.
