Yet more disruption for Nottingham Forest this summer. Martin O'Neill was surprisingly sacked after just a few months in charge. His replacement is Sabri Lamouchi who now must assemble his squad and provide more alterations. It has not been a bad time for Forest in the transfer market with Arjanet Muric a big signing in goal from Manchester City while Albert Adomah and Sammy Ameobi add attacking strength and Tiago Silva is another interesting capture. Lewis Grabban scored 17 times last term but was hit by injury towards the back end of the campaign. He was a big loss as Forest's play-off hopes went up in smoke. Joe Lolley was another big player last term and it could be another important campaign for him. Forest have been excellent on home soil over the last few years but have had a poor time of it on the road, something they know they need to address. Forest have not been in the top flight since 1999 and it will be a tough ask to win promotion this term due to more uncertainty. They really need a season of stability, something they have not had in a while.

Target

The owners will expect promotion but that really is a big ask indeed. But a positive campaign will be acceptable to fans.
