The Quakes had many hopes for Matias Almeyda's first season but finally they ended up in disappointment as the team didn't achieve to qualify to the playoff stage. The team will be about the same with last season as the Quakes are leading the stat category of minutes played within 2019 season who will return playing on 2020 season by 91%. The stability of the team and the little-changed roster will be an advantage for the coach in order for them to better understand and implement his tactics. It will be Wondolowski's last season probably and that will be extra motivation for the whole franchise as for himself as well, as he wants to make it 11 straight season scoring 10 goals or more. Two Panamanians left the club in the offseason (Godoy and Cummings) while Alanis was an experienced addition to the defensive line.

Target

Playoff qualification. There's no great talent but Almeyda can take the best from the players and the fact that team will be about the same with last season will give more chemistry and theoretically the Quakes can go a step further and qualify to the playoffs.
