Football Season Review

№13: Hannover

It was another below-par season for Hannover as they failed to meet expectations once again, they eventually finished in the bottom half after a poor end to the campaign. It was an inconsistent start to the season for Kenan Kocak's men, impressive at home but poor on the road, which was exactly the theme towards the end of the previous campaign.  Spurred on by the goals of Marvin Ducksch and Genki Haraguchi, Hannover found themselves in a good position going into February.  There was hope that a promotion push was on the cards but this was not to be the case, in fact the team fell drastically in the opposite direction.  Hannover went on to win just 2 of their remaining 14 games, there were poor defeats to struggling Wurzburger and Sandhausen and they conceded 29 times in those 14 matches.  Coach Kocak will no longer lead the side next season after the team's poor end to the campaign. They will need to find the right coach to get the club back to where it belongs but whoever it is will have their work cut out for next season.

Player of the Season: Marvin Ducksch
