Football Season Review

№25: Houston Dynamo

It was the 15th season for the franchise but it was again an unlucky one as they failed to qialify to the playoffs for the 6th time within the last 7 years. The team finished last in the Western Conference and they didn't qualify to the knockout stage even to for MLS is Back Tournament during summer. Of course the pandemic could be an excuse for Dynamo but it was the same condition for all the teams in the league. Darwin Quintero had top performances this year and he scored 7 times while he provided 10 assists to his teammates, being the league leader in this stat category. On September key attacker Alberth Elis left the team for Boavista in Portugal and that was also a major absence for Tab Ramos who had his first season in Houston. The team was winless for the last 7 matches and they had won only once in their last 10 matches showing that they failed to be consistent throughout the whole season. They have quality players but they need more consistency and duration for the whole season in order to qualify into the playoffs next year.

Player of the Season: Carlos Darwin Quintero
