Football Season Review

№15: New England Revolution

The 2020 tale for the Revs could be broken into two parts. One when Gil and Bou were playing together on the pitch and one when they couldn't contribute and the whole team was performing much worse. The Revs were lucky to have their best players available into the playoff stage and they achieved to reach Eastern Conference Finals in which they lost to Columbus in a narrow match. Tajon Buchanan had also a great season while Buksa was playing a lot better when Gil and Bou were there to help him. Coach Bruce Arena proved for one more time that he is capable to get the most from each of his players. It was a great success for him for a second consecutive season (as in 2019 the Revs reached the playoffs for the first time after six years of drought). The season was by far successful for the Revs but that doesn't make them automatically favourites to reach again the Conference Final next year as there will be many strong teams in the East. It was a step closer but it still takes a lot of work to reach the top.
