Greuther Fürth were rescued last season by the arrival of coach, Janos Radoki, who turned the struggling team into one of the better sides in the second half of the campaign. This will be the Hungarian's first full season in charge of the side and he has continued to reshape the squad into his chosen form. That has meant a significant clean out of players, though a couple of important players from last season have also left. Robert Zulj and Marcel Franke have both moved to bigger clubs which is a loss of talent at both ends of the pitch. Franke was one of the team's best players last season and an ever present at the back while Zulj was the second top scorer. However, in their places and those of the veterans who have left the club, a plethora of talent has arrived. Nik Omladic, Philipp Hoffmann and Manuel Torres will all look to give the side a more attacking feel which was lacking last season as the club finished with the third least goals. Maximilian Wittek and Richard Magyar both arrive as starters from their previous sides with plenty of experience. Fürth are one of many sides who are likely to be fighting it out for the mid-table places with hopes of pushing on into the top third. One of the bigger problems Radoki's side have is a lack of any star players but that could also be their strength if the coach is able to create the kind of team spirit evident at times during last season. The question of where their goals are going to come from remains unanswered from last season with the pressure likely to fall largely on new signing Hoffmann.

Target

Greuther Fürth look likely to finish in mid-table but have the potential to finish in the top third if they find some form.
