Football Season Guide

One of the biggest successes over the last few years for Ipswich has been their consistency. A consistent team and consistent management has got the best out of their players and Mick McCarthy will hope that can continue this time around. But there is little to get excited about at Portman Road this time around. Adam Webster is the only major signing and they would appear somewhat short of quality. McCarthy has not been happy with the form shown over pre-season either so there is certainly work to be done. Last season Ipswich were excellent away, the season before it was their home form that was their strong suit so it is difficult to predict exactly where they will be at their best this time around.
