QPR went through the motions for the majority of last season even after current boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink took over. They were a club stuck in mid-table and Hasselbaink knows he now must give them their mojo back. It is now his side with Jordan Cousins and Jake Bidwell notable summer signings. However the loss of Matt Phillips to West Brom is a big blow and there are question marks over what they have in attack with Charlie Austin still not really replaced. QPR will have high hopes following recent spells in the Premier League. However the expectations are going to be higher than reality. What QPR really need this term is a bit of excitement as last season was so lacking in that area.

Target

Promotion will be the target from above but even a season where they flirt with the play-offs may be deemed acceptable with the fans.
