Mjallby are coming from an excellent season in which, as Allsvenskan newcomers, they achieved the 5th place of the league just two points away from a European spot. The biggest change they had this offseason was that Ogbu left for China and it will be difficult to replace him at the edge of the attack as he had scored 14 goals. Bergstrom will be the one who will have the responsibility to fill Ogbu's boots. If he achieves it then Mjallby will be ready for another solid season. David Löfquist and Eric Björkander will be other two players in which Mjallby will be leaning on them while they expect a lot from Taylor Silverholt as the 20-year old striker is expected to get a lot more playing time than last season in order to prove his value. An important issue was also that Marcus Lantz had to leave and now his assistant from last year, Christian Järdler, will lead the team further.

Target

It will be extremely difficult for Mjallby to repeat their achievement to finish so high in the league table this season having changed their coach and their top goalscorer. Their target should be at first to remain in Allsvenskan and finsihing close to the the mid-table.
