A very succesful first season for Nashville as they reached Conference semi finals where they were eliminated by Columbus. Actually, Nashville had a very good defensive organisation and performance, being a very solid team throughout the whole season. Maybe many teams underestimated Nashville in their expansion year but now noone will anymore so Nashville must not rely only in their defence but they have to improve their offensive records as well. Central Defender Walker Zimmermann remains their leader defensively but also by giving solutions in offence being a constant threat in offensive set pieces. In offence there's the new addition of the veteran forward CJ Sapong who has 71 goals and 26 assists in 276 MLS appearances. There were also some key departures though like those of Accam and of Derrick Jones, meaning that the offensive line will be totally transformed this season. Defence will remain the main strengh for Nashville but there will be also the willing to play a more attractive football.

Target

The target will be to repeat the successful last season and maintain a top level performance. If they improve their offensive records, maybe they can go even a step further to the Conference Final.
