A crazy season with many ups and downs for San Jose in which they finally managed to qualify to the playoffs but they were eliminated in the first round by Kansas in a match that ended 3-3. The Quakes are a team ready for the best or the worst in a match. It will be the third consecutive campaign for coach Almeyda on the bench though, so we can expect a bit more stability this season and maybe less crazy matches than in the previous two years. Espinoza remains the most creative player for the Quakes but the legend Wondolowski is still around and when he is in-form he is the undisputable leader of the team despite heading towards 38 years. What the Quakes did, and it was pretty impressive as they are not used to it, is that they acquired directly a very good MLS player and this is Eric Remedi, from Atlanta, a dynamic defensive midfielder who will help in the defensive organisation of the team. Cade Cowell will be the player to watch as the 17-year old is a top US talent.

Target

Qualification to the playoffs at first and then try to reach -at least- the Conference Finals.
